Why does Peter Walsh refer people to Amaree Living for organizing services? At this time, it is difficult for Peter to take on new clients and give them the attention they need. Why Amaree Living? Several members of the Amaree team had the opportunity to work with Peter on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, in January 2008. Tamah Vega, while working as an organizing consultant in her previous business, A Sense of Home, had the honor of leading the team of six organizers who collaborated with Peter. Their work created a phenomenal transformation for a Bay Area family that was televised on the national talk show to support his new book, "Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?".

How did Tamah meet Peter Walsh? It all began in 2005 while Tamah was co-chairing the world’s second-largest organizing conference. Peter Walsh, then of TLC's Clean Sweep fame, was invited to be the keynote. Peter accepted and during that time he and Tamah began an easy friendship with their similar approach to organizing and a shared passion for moving the organizing industry forward.
How do I know that you will help me the same way that Peter Walsh would? We subscribe to the same philosophy that being disorganized or overwhelmed with clutter is not about the “stuff”. Of course we have to manage the “stuff” during the process of helping our clients, but we also help our clients deal with the underlying reasons for their current situation. Our goal, just as Peter says, is to help you live a “richer, fuller life with less stuff”. We help you live your best life.
While for many clients we are able to provide hands-on services to assist them in managing their belongings, we consistently work with all our clients to encourage a consciousness in every decision they make. From making a purchase to taking on an additional responsibility, accepting a family heirloom to deciding when to let go, we teach techniques that alter their behaviors and help them on the path to living the life that they desire.
